1

Identify Spam Messages

Common spam indicators: messages from unknown contacts, unsolicited promotional content, suspicious links, requests for money or personal information, and bulk messages. Trust your instincts—if a message seems spammy, report it.

2

Report a Message

Long-press on the spam message and select "Report." Choose the reason: spam, harassment, impersonation, or other. The report is sent to WeTalkin's Trust and Safety team. Your identity remains anonymous in the report.

3

Report and Block

After reporting, you can immediately block the sender to prevent further contact. The "Report and Block" option combines both actions in one step. This is the recommended approach for most spam encounters.

4

Report a Profile

To report an entire account (not just one message), open their profile, tap the menu, and select "Report Account." This is appropriate when the entire account appears to be created for spam or abuse.

5

Continue with Confidence

After reporting, your conversation history and report are processed by the Trust and Safety team. Your encryption is never compromised—reports do not require sharing your private conversations. Continue messaging securely.
